AS&WCO likely refers to the American Steel & Wire Company which operated in DeKalb Illinois 1898 – 1938. It acquired I.L. Ellwood Manufacturing Company in 1898, a local barbed wire manufacturer. We were not able to identify the N&S Works in DeKalb Illinois through online research. American Steel & Wire Company had numerous facilities in the facility. Apparently their team was the Indoor Baseball City Champions 1915 – 1916. Mount is 10 H x 12 W. Visible photo is 6 1/2 x 8 1/2. The photgrapher is not identified.

Condition: Age toning and discoloration to the paper – maybe dust or dirt from storage. Lower right corner of cardboard mount broken off
