Description
4 plane postcards, 9 steamships inc. SS United States, Hamburg – Amerika Line, Canadian Pacific Railway + 4 photos of immigrants onboard a ship traveling to America, handwritten notation of 1905 on back. Photos are 3 3/4 H x 5 1/2 W inches
Condition: Generally good. Wear to edges and corners consistent with use, age toning – particularly the Hamburg Amerika postcards. The Hawaiian Airlines – red and white plane – is heavily creased vertically as if it was rolled. The immigrant photos were removed from a scrapbook and have glue damage and staining.
