Lot of 4 – (a) The Shakespeare Calendar for 1909, published by Raphael Tuck & Sons; (b) Unique Unity Hats Chicago, complete 1910 calendar pad; (c) Aug Peterson Grocer Maywood Illinois die cut, missing calendar; (d) Giles News Company Melrose Park Illinois, complete 1910 calendar, unusual – back is an unused postcard. We are not sure this could have been mailed without significant damage.
Condition: (a) Shakespear: Some dates are scratched out; (b) Unity Hats: complete, excellent; (c) Aug. Peterson: missing calendar, slight paper loss on right side; (d) Giles News: right side, horizontal tear at mid-point, some paper loss at left side of postcard ( it was likely removed from a scrapebook ). All calendars exhibit age toning.
