Description
E R Squibb & Sons New York Manufacturing Chemists to the Medical Profession Since 1858 History: In 1895, Dr Squibb formed a partnership with his sons, Edward and Charles. The firm he founded in 1858 was renamed and incorporated as E.R Squibb & Sons. The company was an early pioneer for safe products and medications ( before the Pure Food and Drug Act was passed in 1906 ). The company evolved from products to medications. In 1989, Squibb and Bristol-Myers merged and became Bristol-Myers Squibb.
