Description
A great compilation of league / game statistics with each team’s schedule and line-up – incl. a black and white photo of each player – for 1952, and 1951 stats for the team. Copyright 1952. Appears published after the 1951 season and before the 1952 season. John P Carmichael, Chicago Daily News, Editor in Chief. Appears Published by B.E. Callahan, Chicago. Also carries imprint of Island Lithograph Company, Chicago. It measures about 9 inches H x 6 inches W and has 96 numbered pages.
Condition: There is damage to the front and back covers: Front cover has a tear upper right and a crease lower right corner. The back cover exhibits water staining and is uneven – as if it sat in water – the water damage does not extent to the interior pages. Please see the photos. The interior pages show age toning. And to be overly critical, the top right corner of the cover and some / not all of the interior pages has a slight, very slight bend in the upper right corner.
