Description

Lot of 4 – (a) the largest about 15 3/4 H x 8 1/2 W, a vase with flowers for Henry Wachtendorf is separated / torn apart at the base of the bowl. In our opinion, it can be repaired. Hole at top, original to piece, for hanging. Full 1903 calendar pad. (b) a basket with flowers about 13 1/4 H x 7 1/2 W, again for Henry Wachtendorf is missing its calendar pad. Melrose Park Fire Whisle ( incorrect spelling ) Alarms written in pencil on the back. (c ) a B Hahn Reliable Footwear die cut shoe with flowers, about 11 1/2 H x 5 3/4 W. It is missing part of the die cut ribbon upper right and is also missing the calendar pad. (d) A Frank Meyer Hardware Plumbing basket of fruit, about 12 H x 8 1/2 W. Full 1904 calendar pad. The bow at the top of the basket with adjacent handle is separated – torn off. In our opinion, it can be repaired.

Condition: As pictured. (a) In addition to being separated, the largest has some edge chips. There may be – we are not certain – some grapes missing on the left side of the vase / hanging over. Note what appears to be a partial brown branch adjacent to the green leaf. (b – d) The others also have edge scuffs. (d) The paper is bent and torn on the upper right where the flowers appear behind the peach. The flowers on the detached box are bent upwards / paper cracked and hanging on. We believe this, like the other damage to the handle and adjacent areas can be repaired. Please see the photos.
